A large managed care organization has a position for a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, previous Occupational health experience preferred along with current resume providing last seven years of employment. Must have excellent communication skills, and professional demeanor.

• PAY: $58.00 ph.
• CONTRACT to HIRE: Credentialing –03/31/2025
• Hours will vary but clinic is open:

M, T, Th, Fr

7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; closed 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday:
10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; closed 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive health measures, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Administer treatments, including Botulinum toxin treatment when applicable.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as assisted living facilities, senior care centers, and memory care units.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Ensure proper management of medical records following ICD-9 coding standards.

Experience

• A valid Nurse Practitioner license with a focus on family practice is required.
• Experience in senior care, assisted living, or ICU settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health records is essential.
• Previous experience in infant care or clinical research is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are necessary for success in this role.
