***DEPOSIT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE***

Summary

Paragon Bank has an opportunity for a full-time Deposit Operations Associate . The Primary responsibilities outlined below will be performed on a rotating basis with existing staff based on daily volumes. The incumbent will also support other areas in the department and serve as a backup when required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Opening, sorting, and processing daily Lockbox Deposits
• Printing and mailing daily letters and notices
• Sort incoming and outgoing mail including branch bags
• Printing and mailing Customer statements on scheduled cycle days
• ACH file processing including returns and chargebacks
• Fed Inclearings (checks) file processing
• Processing NSF and Unposted items
• Processing incoming and outgoing Return item files through Fed
• Reject corrections and balancing transactions in 4-Sight for processing
• Process/Balance 4-Sight End of Day and send electronic cash letter to First Horizon
• Assist internal and external customers via the customer service line and the help desk
• Processing Levies, Garnishments, and Court Subpoenas
• Lockbox Processing
• Wire Transfer Processing

Required Experience

• 2 years of banking experience
• 2 years of customer service experience

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of Bank Operations experience

• Strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a “can-do”, positive mindset
• Proven verbal and written communication competency
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task while handling heavy work volumes
• Experience working in a deadline-oriented environment

Required Hours

• Must be able to work regular hours 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday or until daily functions are complete.
• Overtime required when scheduled for End of Day processing (rotating schedule)

Required Education

• High School Diploma/GED
