Job Description

We are partnering with a full-service ad agency dedicated to creating impactful, data-driven and innovative campaigns. We are looking for a skilled Digital Copywriter to create copy for a range of digital channels, including websites, social media, emails and digital ads. You will work closely with the Creative, Strategy and Account teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with client goals. 

This is a contract position, open-ended and preferably looking for Illinois-based Copywriters as there could be a hybrid capacity.

Digital Copywriter Responsibilities:

• Craft persuasive and engaging copy for digital campaigns, including website content, social media posts, display ads and email marketing
• Collaborate with the Creative and Design teams to develop cohesive digital experiences that align with client branding and objectives
• Translate client briefs into impactful copy, ensuring each message is clear, relevant and tailored to target audiences
• Edit and proofread copy to maintain high standards for grammar, style and brand consistency
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, adjusting based on data-driven insights

Digital Copywriter Requirements: 

• 3+ years of digital copywriting experience in an ad agency, marketing or digital media environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven portfolio showcasing expertise in digital content, with samples across different platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, deadline-driven environment
