Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Home Health Nurse (RN) to join our team for home infusion therapy visits. This role involves providing IV therapy, IVIG infusions, and conducting teach and train sessions for clients with central or PICC lines. Some infusion clients require peripheral sticks to start the IV therapy. Infusions can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, offering you the flexibility to work per diem and supplement your income. Responsibilities:

• Conduct home visits to administer IV therapy and IVIG infusions.
• Perform teach and train sessions for clients discharged from the hospital with central or PICC lines, educating them on how to administer their infusions.
• Monitor clients during infusions, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Conduct thorough assessments to monitor clients' health status and identify any changes or needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health or infusion therapy.
• Strong clinical skills in peripheral sticks, IV therapy and infusion administration.
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
