Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding in various positions, adhering to safety protocols
• Ensure 100% weld quality across all positions
• Manufacture and fabricate metal products, including aluminum, carbon, and water pipes
• Install and repair equipment and components
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet specifications
• Measure materials to verify compliance with specifications
• Conduct tests to assess weld quality and tolerances

Qualifications:

• Experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields
• Proficient in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Must possess appropriate welding attire
• Familiar with welding tools, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and schematics
• Capable of passing certification tests for Stainless Steel Pipe, open root joints, and 6G fixed position; welds must comply with ASME Sec IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of pipe welding experience preferred

Job Requirements/Special Skills:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working on fixtures 28 inches off the ground
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels exceeding 90 decibels
