Project Manager (Water/Wastewater Construction)
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in managing water and wastewater construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. This role requires a strong understanding of water/wastewater infrastructure, project management best practices, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all phases of water and wastewater construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in coordination with clients, engineers, and construction teams.
* Lead project meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to track progress and address any challenges.
* Ensure that all project deliverables meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
* Prepare and review project estimates, contracts, and change orders; manage project budgets and ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
* Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure smooth coordination between the office and field teams.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
* Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project expectations are aligned.
* Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, including financial, schedule, and risk assessments.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that could impact project performance or deliverables.
* Ensure that all construction activities are performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Manage project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and turnover to the client.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in managing water and wastewater construction projects.
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and infrastructure.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to water/wastewater construction.
