Reach Truck & SitDown Forklift Operator
Location: Wilmer Texas
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Shift: 12hour shifts (potentially rotating)
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Reach Truck and SitDown Forklift Operators to join our team at a distribution facility in Wilmer Texas. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products throughout the warehouse loading/unloading trucks and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. This is a highpaced role that requires strong attention to safety detail and commitment to shift schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate reach trucks and sitdown forklifts to move locate stack and count products.
Load and unload products from trailers and railcars and place them in designated areas.
Safely stack and retrieve products according to order sheets.
Maintain high accuracy and careful handling to avoid damage to products or property.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed including inventory counting and order picking.
Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are operating safely.
Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience operating reach trucks and sitdown forklifts.
Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is a plus.
Ability to work 12hour shifts including weekends if required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
Capability to stand sit bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a temperaturecontrolled warehouse environment with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures during loading/unloading.
