Job Description

We are excited to invite applications for a qualified Remote School Social Worker to provide virtual support to students in Michigan. This is a full-time contract position where you will work directly with K-12 students, offering social-emotional support, crisis intervention, and valuable resources to foster student success. As a remote social worker, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with school staff and families to address student needs, helping them navigate challenges and thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual counseling and social-emotional support to K-12 students.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and address student challenges.
Conduct assessments, develop tailored intervention plans, and implement social work strategies to promote student success.
Offer crisis intervention and connect students with additional services as needed.
Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with Michigan school social work regulations.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree: A master's degree in social work is required.
Michigan Social Worker 310 Letter: A valid 310 Letter is necessary to practice in Michigan schools.
LARA License: An active Michigan LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) license is required.
Experience: Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
