Tax Preparer - $25-28/hour (Pay rate is dependent on experience)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a tax preparer for a company in Maryville, TN.

Tax Preparer Responsibilities:
Tax preparation software and tax research
Proficient with MS office - Word, Excel, Outlook
Write-up/bookkeeping using QuickBooks/other accounting software
Personable with excellent communication skills
Must be responsible, dependable, and prompt
Professional in appearance and demeanor
Team player who works well with and supports others
General office - copying, scanning, filing, answering phones, etc.
Must be willing to work extended hours during peak season including weekends as needed.
Other duties as assigned

Tax Preparer Qualifications:
Knowledge of QuickBooks + Excel
S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, Trusts, Estates, Inheritance, and Individuals
3-5 years of tax experience in an office required
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to handle complex as well as routine tax/accounting work, requiring hands-on problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills

Tax Preparer Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM (Tax season hours may differ - some overtime)
Temp-to-hire
Full-time
